CLASSES FOR KIDS
At Serenity Studio Arts, we have something for everyone!
ARTplay (check calendar for dates and times)
This introduction to the world of art is for children ages 18mos-4 with a parent, grandparent, or care-giver. In this class we will read stories, explore colors, textures, and shapes while encouraging the process of creating rather than the end product.
Preschool Art Explorers
Thursdays 1-2 pm $10 per class
In this class, students will explore many different materials and techniques in drawing, painting, collage, and clay. Classes are designed to help develop fine motor, cognitive, and problem solving skills as they use their imagination and express creativity. Ages 3-5
Kids Pottery
Wednesdays 4:30-5:30 pm $50 per month or $15 drop in
Make a mess and get your hands dirty in this clay class packed with fun projects! Learn skills to build confidence creating with clay. Firing and Glazing included with all projects. Ages 6-12
Mixed Media
Wednesdays 5:30pm-6:30pm
Introduction to techniques in painting, collage, altered art, stamping, image transfer and ATCs...
Ages 6-12
Tween/Teen Art Journal Open Studio
Saturdays 10-1pm (check calendar for dates)
$10 per class
*journal can be special ordered for $25 + tax
or check with instructor for acceptable paper/journal
Ages 9 and up
**Adults who wish to journal with their child may do so at this time for same amount.
