What is 'Open Studio'?

Wikipedia's definition of 'Open Studio' is....A studio or workroom which is made accessible to allcomers, where artistic or creative work can be viewed and created collaboratively. An Open Studio is intended to foster creativity and encourage experimentation in an atmosphere of cultural exchange, conversation, encouragement, and freedom of expression.

Acrylic Painting

 

Want to create your own acrylic masterpiece on a canvas? We have the supplies or bring your own. Pay for studio time for a place to spread out Cost of canvas/paint not included in studio fee.


Clay/Pottery

 

Have you been curious about working with clay? Are you an experienced potter and need a place to throw and fire your work?

 

Cost of clay, glaze and fire, not included in studio fee.

No instruction during open studio. Previous experience required to use potters wheel.

 

 

Mixed Media/Art Journal

Bring your art journal and mixed media supplies, spread out and get creative. $10/3hours fee includes use of limited mixed media supplies including stamps, stencils, paint, papers, etc.

 

 

 

 

 

Jewelry

Bring your broken jewelry, beads and findings or a unfinished project to work on. Use of tools and equipment included in studio fee.  Or pick out your own beads in the studio to make your own wearable art!

Paint Your Own Pottery

Glaze and Fire included in the price of pottery. Prices from $2-$50

Paint Your Own Wine Glasses

Bring a friend and paint your own wine glasses. 

price includes 2 glasses, use of enamel paints, use of brushes, and studio fee.  $18 per person
